So we flew to Virginia on December 22nd to visit Kenny's family in Newport News. On Christmas Day, Kenny told me that my Christmas present "was coming." I spent Christmas with Kenny's family in Newport News, Virginia and Huntington, West Virginia.

On the morning of January 31, 2009 Kenny told me that he would make me some brunch. He made me some chorizo and eggs and put the ring in its red box on the plate. I didn't have my contacts or glasses on so I couldn't see a thing! I had a fork of food in my mouth before I noticed the red box on the plate. I looked over and Kenny seemed really nervous. I put on my glasses and saw the ring in the red box. Kenny then got down on one knee and said "Will you marry me?" I immediately said yes and cried my eyes out.

So Rosanna is one of my chicas. We work together, she has the cube across from me, and she has really become one of my closest friends. For her birthday we hit Mikuni, had a VIP booth in Momo Lounge, had Oz Korean BBQ the next day, and then hit the gift center in SF the day after that. Roro, you have brightened my life in so many different ways. I thank God every single day that you are in my life. Thank you for your friendship and for always encouraging me and lifting me up! *HUGS*
