  • KENNY GOT RESIDENCY FOR NEUROLOGY FOR ALL 4 YEARS AT UC DAVIS!!

    I'm seriously ecstatic right now. We've been hoping and praying. It's been such a mental strain not knowing where we were going to wind up. So its official, Kenny will graduate from medical school in June and we'll be set! Woo hoo! The wedding is set for September 5th at the Asian Art Museum in SF and we are officially house hunting in Sacramento!

  • I'M ENGAGED!!!!

    So we flew to Virginia on December 22nd to visit Kenny's family in Newport News. On Christmas Day, Kenny told me that my Christmas present "was coming." I spent Christmas with Kenny's family in Newport News, Virginia and Huntington, West Virginia.

    On the morning of January 31, 2009 Kenny told me that he would make me some brunch. He made me some chorizo and eggs and put the ring in its red box on the plate. I didn't have my contacts or glasses on so I couldn't see a thing! I had a fork of food in my mouth before I noticed the red box on the plate. I looked over and Kenny seemed really nervous. I put on my glasses and saw the ring in the red box. Kenny then got down on one knee and said "Will you marry me?" I immediately said yes and cried my eyes out.

  • ROSANNA'S BIRTHDAY

    So Rosanna is one of my chicas. We work together, she has the cube across from me, and she has really become one of my closest friends. For her birthday we hit Mikuni, had a VIP booth in Momo Lounge, had Oz Korean BBQ the next day, and then hit the gift center in SF the day after that. Roro, you have brightened my life in so many different ways. I thank God every single day that you are in my life. Thank you for your friendship and for always encouraging me and lifting me up! *HUGS*

What should you know about me?

1) My family and close friends mean the world to me and there is nothing (assuming it's not illegal or anything) that I won't do for them.
2) I'm a night owl. I never crash before midnight on a weekday and 3am on a weekend.
3) The best way to reach me is on gmail or text. I have a a gmail that I check religiously on my iPhone. If I don't respond within minutes just call my cell or text me.
4) I am a Christian.
5) I am a social activist. I am one of those kids who wants to save the world. Yes, that was me picketing in front of Abercrombie.
6) I am intolerant of disrespect, narrow-mindedness, inconsideration, and dishonesty. I hate it when people flake on me or refuse to communicate. Don't gay bash in front of me-I'll think you are narrow-minded and judgmental. Yes I am straight! Never lie to me-I will never trust you again!
7) Every single one of my good friends inspires me and lifts me up. I have a hard time when people are too blunt or can't talk things out rationally.
8) What I lack in size, I make up for in energy. My friends call me the energizer bunny on crack=P
9) I have 4 main food groups...they are sushi, boba, steak, and noodles. Any questions?

What am I about?

Basically, I'm independent, free-spirited, and ambitious.I am very open-minded, outgoing, and NOT CONSERVATIVE. I am a Christian. I'm about acceptance, respect, and love...the manna to the soul we all crave. I'm about having fun and being young, meeting people in ways I would never meet otherwise, bonding with and holding onto the good people in my life, using my strengths to try to have a positive effect on the world, and celebrating life to the fullest.
